About Erik Rask

Erik Rask grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and studied history and geography in Colorado, neither of which led to a career. He taught martial arts for years, until a severe injury ended that. He then spent the next few decades as a software engineer in corporate America.

He wrote the whole time. Short stories and novels went into a drawer and stayed there. When the corporate work finally burned him out, he walked away from it and started taking the drawer seriously.

He lives in northern Wisconsin with his wife and three dogs, where the winters are brutal but the scenery makes up for it.
